In the beginning when I created these tracks, it was originally to help myself fall asleep. I know how difficult it is to reach brain zero, especially when the music in there is always too loud! And as a music teacher I have the peculiar joy of getting my students’ music lodged in the brain, with their signature mistakes and all (looking at you, Fur Elise). So I took it upon myself to make some piano tracks just sparse enough to create space, just full enough to maintain the right amount of interest. If I didn’t have to be all artistic when naming the album I would have called it “empty music for empty heads” - HA! Alas, it’s 2024 and we have to take the algorithm into account. I recorded the birds from where I live and improvised some sanctuary-like piano to it. This has become, “A Forest of Dreams”. I hope you too can find some peaceful dreams in this album! I also suggest it to accompany your bedtime routine or make mental space for journalling and such. Enjoy!
